BitterSweet Mixed Review From The Great Southern Brainfart

You can’t win em all.That doesn’t stop you from wanting your reviews to all be great ones…..then again, we want all of the reviews we get;the good,bad, and the ugly.Our most recent came from a fairly well known blogger with some regular readers entitled The Great Southern Brainfart. I don’t think he ripped us to shreds-he was just an honest cat who gave us his time, effort, and energy into reviewing us on his blog for the week of the 26th.We’re grateful to him.If you guys get a chance go on over there and comment, or leave a comment here if you’re moved to agree, disagree, and etc.On another note, we’re playing on Thursday, March 5, at Six Plates in Durham, 9p.It’s on Erwin Road. And on Friday morning, I’ll be interviewed by Len Rogers on Rainbow World Radio, of which I am very much looking forward to.The airdate will be posted here. But I must tell you that the real highlight we’re looking forward to is our return trip to Wilmington and performance at The Bottega on Saturday, March 7, 9p.We just like that city a lot. I was down there and got a chance to see a really groovy funk band called “Painted Man.” They were tight, and the people at The Rusty Nail n 5th were feeling them.We’re trying to get on with Vince and them as I write, we’ll let you know how it turns out. For the millionth time, if you liked what you saw in the “Reverend Charisma” video give us a shout.Hell, in the spirit of mixed review go over there and comment even if you didn’t like it!
