Wedlock – Halle Cultural Arts

Apparently we’ve been parent tested. If Lee’s parent’s can sit through numbers like “Cuts Both Ways,” and “Easy Weekend? with all of their connotations; either we’re making enough sense to people that they get it-or we’re really tame by comparison. Or maybe it’s because the mains were not connected and nobody understood a word of what I was saying anyway.

Even if it’s none of the above; we enjoyed playing for them. It’s nice to be in front of an audience that likes what you’re doing younger, older, or otherwise. The only thing I knew about Apex before playing there was that it had a few nice spots right through the center of town and that their Border’s was too “family oriented” for our record. The center itself on Salem Street is huge and practically brand spanking new.I think any band would enjoy doing a show there. We have to thank Hendecatope for coming out with us, Rock Kershaw, Julie Johnston for the photography and videography, and the Arts Council of the City of Apex for having us and allowing us a sponsor. Our next is Thursday,March 5,9p at Six Plates Wine Bar in Durham, and then back to Wilmington’s Bottega Art&Wine on Saturday,March 7, 9p.
If you get a chance to go You Tube, check out our video, “Reverend Charisma,” and leave us a commment-good bad, otherwise, we just want to know what people think.
